Title: How practical Event Storming uncovers Domain-Driven Design strategic design

Description: After running the previous talk about "Theoretical Event Storming" (we didn't finally deal with practical Event Storming due to time constraint) in the 1st DDD Meetup now it is time to take advantage of the basics and put it in place. That is, we will make a brief recap of Event Storming and introduce Domain-Driven Design strategic design. Then we will put it together and taking a real case as an example it will be shown how EventStorming uncovers Domain-Driven Design strategic design.

Description: In this talk, we will discuss how our team experienced a real world Event Storming Session in the context of an Inception. We were putting together a consulting development team and the customer's domain experts and technical people. We acquired insights about how to prepare the session, starting it up by setting goals, pace management and how to effectively drive knowledge discovery and business alignment.

In order to access the Torre Telefónica Diagonal 00 building for security reasons it is necessary to provide some personal information: name + surnames + NIF (DNI / NIE) or Passport number. You could provide these information in 2 ways:

1. 2. If you don’t fill out the form you will be required to provide the personal information at the entrance of the building and it may took some extra time to prepare the temporary access card.

In any case, keep in mind that is a must to bring your NIF (DNI / NIE) or Passport the day of the meetup. No one could enter the building without it. The temporary acess card you will be given is a contactless card that needs to be given back in reception when leaving the building.
